Cookie Policy

A plain-language overview of the cookies and similar technologies used on olamusicacademy.com.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. They can remember things such as your preferences or help a site measure how it is being used. Similar technologies, such as pixels and local storage, serve comparable purposes.

Essential services

Some cookies and requests are necessary for the website to work or to keep it secure — for example, remembering the choice you make in our cookie banner, protecting our contact and enrolment forms from spam, and serving the site's own pages and images. These do not need separate permission.

Optional services

Optional services and privacy choices

Whether optional services need permission before they run depends on your location and the settings for this site. Services you previously declined stay off. If we cannot determine which services are allowed, they stay off.

You can decline optional services or withdraw permission at any time in Cookie settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising stays off unless you explicitly allow it in Cookie preferences. This signal does not automatically turn off functional services or analytics.

  • Google Maps

Show an interactive map and directions to our studio on the Contact page.

    Functional

Google may set cookies and local storage tied to the map embed. Retention is managed by Google.

  • Google Ads

Measure the results of our advertising and understand which ads lead families to enroll.

    Advertising

Google sets identifiers and cookies (such as _gcl_au) so it can recognize a visit and attribute it to an ad. Retention is managed by Google.

Your choices and how to change them

You can accept or refuse optional services in the banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using (also linked in the footer of every page). Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals sent by your browser are honoured.

Where regional rules require it, optional services wait for your permission; elsewhere they may run until you refuse, and refusing stops them. Your choice is saved on this device so the banner is not shown again unnecessarily. If you refuse optional services, some measurement may be incomplete, but the website keeps working normally.
